Learning Express

LearningExpress Library is an easy-to-use online test prep resource that helps people improve their core academic skills, earn a high school equivalency, prepare for college, join the military, obtain occupational certification, change careers, become a U.S. citizen and much more.

Commonly used resources: TEAS test prep, NCLEX, Dental Assisting Certification, Medical Assistant Certification, Surgical Technologist Certification, Vet Tech Certification

Targeted Learning Centers:

  • College admissions and placement exams (ACT®, SAT®, AP® and TOEFL®)
  • Academic skills-improvement for 4th-grade skills-level through college (reading, writing, math, science)
  • Graduate School Admissions exams (DAT®, GRE®, GMAT®, LSAT®, MAT® and MCAT®)
  • Adult learning (reading, writing, math) with U.S. citizenship test prep
  • High school equivalency (GED®, HiSET® and TASC™) test prep
  • Spanish-language content academic skills improvement as well as GED®  and U.S. citizenship test prep
  • Occupational certification exam prep for careers in nursing and allied health, military, law enforcement, education and the trades

 

Learning Express Test Prep

Free practice exams are available for many licensing/certification exams through LearningExpress. To access the practice exams:

  • Go to the Library page (you will need to log in with your IWCC username and password)
  • In the Other Resources Section, look for the LearningExpress button. 

On the LearningExpress Page you will click on Sign In/Register, located near the top of the page. 

  • If you have NEVER used LearningExpress, you will need to REGISTER to create your free account. 
  • After you have registered or signed in, click on Centers at the top of the page
    • Choose Career Preparation
    • Choose Prepare for an Allied Health and Social Work Exams OR Prepare for Nursing Exams
    • Click on the certification you would like to practice.

There are usually multiple full-length practice exams. There are three options when you take a practice exam:

  • Simulation - the test will end with the timer is up
  • Practice - The timer will run, but will not kick you out when time is up. You can also see answer explanations when you are done.
  • Learner - See the answers as you go to help you study

You can stop the test and resume at a later time, if needed.
