Welcome to the IWCC Library

Printing in the Library

IWCC students get FREE black and white printing and limited color printing. 

Our printers can also scan and copy as well. You can scan homework and documents to send to your IWCC email or make free black and white photocopies. Library staff is here to assist you with printing, scanning and copying.

Library Services

What services are available for students at the library?

  • Large study space where students can work quietly on their own or in small groups
    • Desktop computers
    • Desks with ports to plug in your devices
    • Tables to spread out or comfy chairs to settle in for long study sessions
    • Desk bikes, so you can exercise while you work!
  • Individual and group study rooms
  • Free black and white printing (limited color printing)
  • Laptop checkout
    • 24 hour checkout for on campus students
    • Semester checkout for off campus students
    • In library use of Respondus laptops
  • Assistance with research and citation & format
    • Sara is available until 4 pm during the week
    • Faith is available until 9 pm Monday - Thursday (Fall & Spring semesters only)
    • Assistance is available in person or via Zoom
  • The Tutoring & Writing Center is also located in the library space

Study Rooms

Need to cut down on distractions while you're doing homework? We have 6 individual study rooms located in the library space.

Individual study rooms are first come, first served (no reservations required). They have desktop computers, which as connected to library printers, and a desk with room for laptops, notebooks, and textbooks.

Study rooms are available during regular library hours.

Group Study Rooms are located on the second floor of the Student Center and are available during regular library hours. Rooms are for academic use only and must be reserved ahead of time. The group rooms have whiteboards and room for up to 8 students. Use the links below to reserve your time.

Laptop Checkout

The library has laptops available for student use. There are three options:

  • 24 hour checkout for on campus students
    • These laptops can go anywhere on campus, including dorm rooms
    • Do not include a charger
  • Semester long checkout for off campus students
    • Includes charger and, if needed, a mouse and laptop bag
  • In library use of Respondus laptops for math or lab science courses
    • Due to limited availability, Respondus laptops must stay in the library, unless prior permission is given

Library Hours

The library is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center.

Our regular semester hours are:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am to 9:00 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Saturday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Sunday: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Summer hours begin Saturday 5/17:

Our summer hours are:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
